Planning for exceptional wedding photography
Bay Area Wedding Photographer - Serving San Francisco, Napa, and all of Northern California

A little planning will help ensure your wedding day photography to be both fun and relaxing.

1) Decide whether you want formal portraits to be done before or after the ceremony. Taking formal portraits prior to the ceremony will help make the transition from ceremony to reception much quicker, but it will require you two to see each other before the ceremony.

2) Draw up a list of group portraits that you want done. For example, bride & groom with bride's family, bride & groom with groom's family, etc. This will help us determine how much time is needed. Assign a helper to gather these groups together on the the wedding day.

3) If at all possible, reserve some time so that I can take some intimate portraits with just you two. We can go off to a remote location, or simply walk around the reception site. This is an opportunity for you to relax, take a breather, and for me to capture some genuine moments between you two.
